Common issues
Chrome extension isn’t working on LinkedIn
- Make sure you’re on a LinkedIn page and the extension has permissions.
- Try reloading the LinkedIn tab and reopening the extension.
- If you’re developing locally, confirm the extension is pointing at the correct environment.
Video upload failed
- Try again on a stable connection.
- If the upload repeatedly fails, email support with the popup console logs.
LinkedIn preview image (thumbnail) is missing
- Thumbnails are generated from the video. If a video exists, the preview should appear after crawling.
- LinkedIn may cache previews. If you’ve updated a link, it may take time to refresh.
